## **Structure, governance and management**
The charity is an unincorporated association governed by a formal constitution. Trustees are elected at the AGM.
## **Objectives and activities**
The charity’s purpose is to provide French Saturday morning education aimed at bilingual children to enhance French speaking and knowledge of French culture.
The trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.
## **Achievements and performance**
During the year the charity continued the consistent running of its Saturday morning provision for approximately 50 children.
Older children achieved exceptional DELF results across A1, A2, B1 and B2. The charity also supported some students with early GCSEs, all of whom achieved Grade 9.
The charity also supported French cultural awareness through activities including an annual Kermesse, Galette Des Rois and crêpes for La Chandeleur.
## **Financial review**
The charity’s income for the year was £25,494. Expenditure for the year was £27,151.
At 31 August 2025, the charity’s total funds were £23,711, comprising bank balances of £23,958, debtors of £408 and creditors of £655.
The charity’s main source of income was tuition fees.
All funds were unrestricted. The charity has no formal reserves policy.
The charity did not hold any funds as custodian trustee for any other charity or organisation.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2025.
**Responsibilities and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
