Flexible service for appointments
Low cost- 35p per mile. Minimum journey cost £4
All age5 and most disabilities aye cared for
Hospital. Dental. Opticians. Nursing Home5 and other visits
may be catered for

How Does it Work ?
Patients call the parish co-ordinator with details of theii
upcoming appointment. the co-ordinator then allocates an available driver

The SHPVCS is a registered charity volunteets in
conjunction with Lincolnshire County CourKil & South
Holland District Counril. All of thÈ drivers are volunteers each
have been DBS checked & have wbli¢ liability insurance
thiough LCC. The dri%*r& who use their own ¥ehicles. are
not paid but re¢•ve expÈnse5 to cover their costs each
patient carried pay5. direct to the driver. a rate of 35p per rnil
Icalculated to & from the drivets. addressl vthich is topped up
l Op to 45p per mite from the scheme's fvnd& The stheme
is funded by contributions from each participating Ic￿1
parish council & SHLK. Grants are a150 provided by LCC alo
with variou5 business donations and wblic gifts
Volunteer Drivers Needed

We are always looking for drivers to help in their
community. If you enjoy meeting people and have
some time to spare. then driving patients may suit
you. It is an extremely rewarding experience.
