Aims and objectives.
UK TELUGU ASSOCIATION (UKTA) promotes the following aims and objectives in United Kingdom.
UK Telugu Association (UKTA) is a Trade Mark registered non-profit charitable organization that encourages women empowerment, youth, students, culture festivals, etc., of Asian Community in the UK / Europe to actively participate in the progress of the community that defines their identity.
Summary of the main events:
The Trustees happy to announce UKTA at after critical period of Pandemic 19 had several programs live as listed below for kind information.
- (I). On 25/03/2023 – UKTA Celebrated Ugadi Celebrations – Telugu New Year Day. The function was started with Panchanga Shravanam, Ugadi greetings message from Hon’ble Prime Minister of Britain followed by children skirts, adult fashion shows, presented children talented awards, felicitated adult community services awards followed by dinner and dhandya dances.
- (II). On 14/01/2023 – UKTA celebrated Sankranthi Celebrations – we can call it as Harvest Festival. Like every year conducted Muggula Coemptions, Children fancy dress, for children Bogi Pallu veduka, Kolatams and served nice Indian Telugu food.
- (III). UKTA conducted 1[st] ever 11 TTD Srinivasa Kalyanams in association with APNRT and other local organisations in respective locations on respective dates as follows : On 15/10/2022 at Basingstoke, on 16/10/2022 at Manchester, on 22/10/2022 at Dublin, Ireland, on 23/10/2022 at Belfast, Northern Ireland, on 29/10/2022 at Zurich, Switzerland, on 30/10/2022 at Eindhoven, Netherlands, on 03/11/2022 at Munich, Germany, on 05/11/2022 at Frankfurt, Germany, on 06/11/2022 at Paris, France, on 12/11/2022 at London and on 13/11/2022 at Edinburgh.

(IV). On 22/10/2022 : Saturday, 22[nd] October 2022 UKTA in association with High Commission of India, London officially conducted a Consular Services in Chelmsford, Essex between 9 am to 5 pm.

(V). On 14/10/222 : UKTA in association with Telugu Association of Basingstoke conducted TTD Srinivasa Kalyanam Vigrahams Samproksham (Hindu temple ritual that is believed to homogenize, synergize and unite the mystic powers of the deity) event at Basingstoke on Friday, 14[th] October 2022

(VI). On 17/09/2022 : UKTA celebrates to pay “A Tribute to Hyderabad Liberation Freedom Fighters”. On 17th Sep 2022. The Government of India has approved the yearlong commemoration of the “Hyderabad Liberation Day” for the period 17th Sep 2022 to 17th Sep 2023 at Broomfield Village Hall Charity, Chelmsford, CM1 7AH.

(VII). On 28/07/2022 : UKTA conducted a Meet & Greet for Dr. Chevireddi Bhaskar Reddy garu, MLA, Governament Whip, TUDA Chairman , Member ( Ex. Officio) TTD, Andhra Pradesh and released TTD Srinivasa Kalyana Mahostavam Flyer in UK & Europe between 15th October to 15th November 2022 on Thursday, 28[th] July 2022 at East London.

(VIII). On 12/06/2022 : UKTA meet & greet with Sh. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Hon’ble Minister from State of Telangana, India at London with Indian Community on Sunday, 12[th] June 2022.
