The Methodist worship centres at Marehay and Wain8roves are managed by J single Church Council- the others all have their own Church Council. For worship, a quartedy preaching plan is produced to ensure regular acts of worship take place In all the worship centres,. all the acts of worship are open to all people, vmhout charge. ThÈ circuit also provides monthly services of worship at Maple Leaf House in Ripley, a purp05e-built MHA nursing home for people livin8 Wlth dementia. IndNiduals and families from church con8reBations and on the periphery of churth have attended. It ts a place for people of all ages to gather outdoor5 and to connect with the space and with God. The intention is that the time tO8Èthèr ￿11 be fun and engaging and li is a place to enjoy creaiion. nature and b￿nE together. As well as a differeni venue being ex￿ore￿ each month on a Sunday aftemoon. this year there was another Muddy Church Campout at 8onsall Camp over a weekend in July. Twelve familiè5 were represented- fifty.three people attended, includlng fourteen volunteer hdpets. The theme of the weekend was God'5 Great Garden, which included thinking about God as CrÈattsr. Gardenèr, Li8ht. Breath and Living Waief. The weather was wet but this did not dampèn the enthusiasm. Feedback from those who attended included.. A fHnta5tic. whole50ffle weekend where the power of God realty wo5 Wlthin thÈ groupl Every single person had an opportunity to enjoy the weekend ihrough a variety of atthvities that catered for young ènd old, as well as some lovely group sessions that helped brin8 everything together. This was a great opportunityto relax and be looked afterin so many ways. There were lots of fun artivitie5 and a chance to chat with new people. Unique precious exper*n¢e. Christianity Month The circuit held another Christianity Month this year. in May 2025.. there were two initiatives: Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer rnovement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost lor more Peop￿ to cometo knowjesus. The circuit held a 2417 prayer event from 29 May to 8, June. with people in the churthes praying etther alone or in groups at home or in their church for half.hour Ses￿onS. It included a period of one hour prawng via Zoom. The circuit had 3 PrayÈr Calèndar for the rnonih of May= eath church. each Minister and other groups in the circuii were allocated one day in May. They wrote prayer points whith were put t)n the cirtult Facebook page on the relevant day.
