TO PROMOTE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF MANGOTSFIELD AND THE WIDER SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR, RECREATION, SPORT OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF HEALTHY LIFE STYLES, SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF INCREASING ACCESSIBILITY AND OF ADVANCING EDUCATION, SPORT AND IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.2. TO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY BUILDING (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE -Ç£CENTRE-ÇØ) AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE, OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY, OTHER CHARITY OR ASSOCIATION IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE POMPHREY HILL COMMUNITY SPORTS ASSOCIATION (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE TRUSTEES) AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.

**Activities:** The association is made up of 4 sporting clubs providing activities in football & cricket for males and females. In addition other sporting groups who make regular use of the outside space include a local running group and a weekly 5K parkrun. The inside space is hired out to community groups for regular classes, to businesses for conferences and private hirers for functions and charity events.
