Hackney Shed provides inclusive theatre workshops for young people under 26 some of whom require support with communication, mobility, behaviour skills and social development. Its purpose is to increase participation in performing arts, social inclusion skills and community cohesion, benefitting children and young people through education, creating plays, workshops, public performances and events.

Objects: To Advance Appreciation Of And Participation In The Performing Arts, And The Social Inclusion Skills And Community Cohesion Developed In Creating Such Work, For The Benefit Of The Public And In Particular Children And Young People Of All Abilities, Through Education And The Provision Of Plays, Workshops, Public Performances And Performance Events Primarily For But Not Limited To The Community Of The London Borough Of Hackney
