## **Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31[st] March 2021**

- 1 During the year, despite the covid restrictions, the trustees endeavoured to fulfil the objects of the charity to the best of their ability.

- 2 By using Zoom and YouTube the teaching reached a wider audience than in previous years.

- 3 Sunday attendance was much in line with that prior to the Lockdown, and as happens in any year, it tended to fluctuate.

- 4 Sunday School ceased but teenagers had their own Sunday Church and also mid-week Inspire meetings.

- 5 Monthly Breakfast meetings continued on Zoom as prayer and discussion. Both the Men’s and the Ladies meetings were reasonably well attended.

- 6 Many members used the telephone to carry out Pastoral care, which was welcomed by both those receiving the support and a blessing to those providing it.

- 7 Weekly and Monthly meetings were held at which our nations leaders were upheld in prayer, especially for wisdom, and those suffering might have their needs met.

- 8 We are thankful our finances did not decrease but continued largely in line with last year.

- 9 We do not collect money from the general public, nor obtain funding from centra government or local authority. We do not use fund raisers or obtain money from outside the UK.

- 10 Only one Trustee received any remuneration, and that was the Minister for providing Pastoral services and advice.

- 11 Planning permission obtained expires on 5[th] August 2022 has been put on hold, initially due to covid. It will be re-examined when the new Pastor starts on May 1[st] .

- 12 The charity had no employees but has some two dozen volunteers.

- 13 The charity operates within the UK and Offering or making grants is not part of its purposes.

- 14 The charity has written policies in the areas required by the Charities Commission.:

Signed, on behalf of the Trustees:

Independent Examlnerfs Report to the Tr￿tee9 of ICF (Borehamwood) CIO
I report on the Accounts for the year erKling 31* March 2021 in the accompanying
documenL
Respective responsibility of Examiner and Trustees.
The Charitys Trustees consider an audit is not required (forthis year) under section
43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 lThe Act) arKI that an irKlependent examination is
needed.
It is my responsibirty to:
examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act).
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under section 43 (7) (b) of the Act), and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examlner8 rnport
My examination was carried out in aC(X)rdan￿ with General Directions gNen by the
Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of the accounting recy)rds
kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanations from you as trustees Con￿mIng any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all the eviden￿ that would be required in an
audit. and consequently no opinion is gNen as to whether the accounts present a
Yrue and fairf view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement
below.
Independent examlnerfs statement
In the course of my examination. matter has come to my attention:
1 which gNes me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respec( the
requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordan￿ with section 41 of the Act, and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply
with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Ac(. have not been meL or
2 to whlch, in my opinion. attention S￿uld be drawn in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
