The charity has complied with the duty in section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit by incorporating the guidance into planning charity activities for the year at our trustee meetings. Youth Prospects provides projects and services for disadvantagedyoung people from all areas of deprived communities targeting black and minority ethnic groups and those at greatest risk. Our projects deliver for specific local needs identified through community outreach and developed through on-going community consultation. We work to accomplish the charity’s objects achieved through delivering for our current aims which are reviewed and voted on twice a year by board of trustees and users committee, the charities current aims are:•To increase participation in exercise, physical activity and team sports, promoting and encouraging mutual cooperation, sporting excellence and healthy lifestyles.•To bring communities together through common interest.•To provide affordable childcare and enrichment activities for deprived communities.•To improve the lives of young people through the building of life, social and economic skills.•To create positive community leaders & role models.•To significantly improve lifetime opportunities of young people living in deprived communities. •To provide employment and volunteering opportunities for young people.Projects and services delivered this year: •TheAccess For All ProjectAccess for Allprovides affordable childcare for families with children aged 0-13 years improving their life skills while empowering and supporting parents into work. We work to provide access to outstanding early years nursery education, afterschool and holiday enrichment activities for all children regardless of background. We aim to bring parents/carers, children and the community closer together through shared learning, education and employment. To improve the employability skills of parents/carers living in deprived communities by supporting them to access employment and training opportunities. We aim to create and facilitate a peer support network of parents and children living in deprived communities empowered to emotionally support each other through our buddying system. |

YOUTH PROPSTECTS INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF YOUTH PROSPECTS We have examined the financial statements on pages 2 to 4 for the year ended 31st March 2024. RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of 2ceounts and that you consider that the audit requirement of section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 does not apply. It is our responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under section 43(D (b) of the Act, whether particular matters have come to our attention. BASIS OF INDPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT Our examination was carried out in aceordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the Accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those reeords. It also Includ consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the aecounts, and seeking explanations from you a trustees concerning Such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide 911 the evidence that would be required in gn audit, and eonsequently we do not expr an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
