**Objects:** A) TO ADVANCE THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF BATS, THEIR ROOSTS, FEEDING AREAS, HIBERNACULA AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT IN DERBYSHIRE;B) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND THE GROUP'S MEMBERS IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO BATS, INCLUDING THE PRODUCTION OF LITERATURE AND DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF RESEARCH DATA

**Activities:** We determine the diversity and location of Derbyshire's bats. We provide information to the public about bats, their conservation and protected status by leading bat walks, giving talks and running workshops on behalf of schools and other community groups and organisations. We work with statutory organisations such as NE and BCT to provide assistance to householders over bat related issues.
