The IOC is autonomous church and headed by the Catholicose. Its present primate is Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II, Catholicose of the East. The structure of Indian Orthodox Church is also episcopal polity. Churches in UK, Europe and African Diocese are currently under pastoral care of diocesan bishop Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios, who is the chairperson of the charity. Trustees are the diocesan council members. The trustees meet at least three times a year. Risks are mitigated by a careful evaluation and budgeting of the income and expenditure at the start of the financial year. The charity enables ordinary people to live out their faith as part of the Indian Orthodox Church, through the Holy Eucharist, learning about the Gospel and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus Christ. Pastoral care is an integral part of the whole ministry of the Church. Having a great variety of expressions, it focuses appropriately on the needs of individuals and social groups within the Church and wider community, irrespective of religious and cultural barriers. Thank Almighty God that all the spiritual organisations in our diocese are functioning efficiently. The main objective and mission of our Church is to mould and nurture better people for the Kingdom of God. The spiritual organisations are indeed the tool and platform towards this accomplishment. Since it was set up on **achievements of the charity** 02 May 2021, the organisation has established contacts with students **during the year** in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and Ukraine. There are local coordinators in 23 countries across Europe. The organisation has provided a unique forum for fellowship and dialogue among students from various spheres of education. It is active on social media across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. OSSAE-UK, At the very outset, the year was marked with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which initially put a stop to all the spiritual activities of our Churches, which included Sunday school. But, despite the challenges posed with the lockdowns and restrictions, we were able to bounce back finding ways continue our Sunday school activities. There are virtual meetings for Sunday school, OVBS happening at each parish during the pandemic.Regular Sunday school classes are conducted in every parish, for the children. The curriculum focuses on lessons and thoughts from the Bible, history and traditions of the Church, prayers, and offices of liturgy as well as activities including singing and drama, to promote self-development and social interaction. Through this, the Sunday School aims to provide a proper understanding of human values and how the Christian way of life can provide a caring and compassionate outlook to the society. In addition to advancing Christian religious faith, DIOCEUK has taken actions to support variety of charity work such as development of dialysis unit. Diocesan Premarital Course started in November 2014, with the leadership and blessings of our Diocesan Metropolitan H.G Mathews Mar Thimothios. It has been successfully running year after year with good participation of youngsters attending from all over the Diocese. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, since October 2020, we have been organising the Diocesan Premarital Course as one day course online on Zoom. The Diocese Annual AMOSS Conference was held on Saturday, 31st October 2020 through zoom online platform. The theme of the conference was taken from the book of Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2829 ‘’Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for indeed our God is a consuming fire’’. Our Diocesan Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM-UK EU AFR), the Youth-wing of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, is in its 9th year of active leadership and Christian witness for the Church and society. It contributes to the goodness and progress of our Church and community in the three-fold path of worship, study and service. As the world was faced with COVID-19, our regular planned activities were put on hold. However, our youth members across different churches, held virtual quiz sessions, vigils, bible reading sessions and shared video messages to rejuvenate hope and unity. With the understanding that the gem centre of faith and religion is in the bosom of the mother, the charity is promoting the pastoral and ecclesial guidance and support for following of the doctrines and beliefs of the Indian Orthodox religion for the ladies. In early 2020, as the world was faced with COVID-19, our planned activities for Youth were put on hold. However our youth members across different churches, held virtual quiz sessions, vigils, bible reading sessions and shared video messages to rejuvenate hope and unity. We are also currently in the middle of organising various virtual activities. Swanthanam was a mission started by diocese last year, with the objective to provide palliative counselling. This mission had begun in October 2019. There were a number of people in our community at different ages, who were suffering from worrying health conditions and it is sad to say that some were facing terminal conditions. There were also elderly people who were seeking attention, moral support and spiritual togetherness. Parishes manage to witness Christ and help the flock in building a life worth living. Members of the Indian Orthodox Church love the church and it's tradition. They have commitment towards God and the Gospel through collective efforts, manage to help a lot of people who go through difficulties. All the parishes and congregations have charity funds; huge sum if it is pooled together from which every parish gives financial assistance to various deserving people. The diocese has procured a property as a diocese centre with an outstanding mortgage amount of £173,843.
