Trinity Early Learners works to enhance the development and education of pre-school children between the ages of 2 and statutory school age. We provide sessional daycare in a church hall which was refitted in consultation with the playgroup. Children also have use of a fenced in outdoors area which is accessed directly from the hall. We provide a caring and stimulating environment where each child is welcomed and valued whatever their race, age, gender and cultura5 background. We promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and cultural development of each child through play and learning experiences. Children will be encouraged to be part of a group and will also be helped to become independent and to reach their full potential, in order to prepare them for their transition to school. Our routines and activities can be adapted so that we are able to provide the same level of care and education to children with additional needs and have done so on a number of occasions. We have flexible payment schemes to help parents/carers to meet the cost of attending the group. The staff are all appropriately qualified and continue to update their skills. We welcome students from local schools and colleges who are undertaking relevant childcare courses. Our activities and learning experiences are all based around the EYFS. Children spend some of the sessions working in small groups- this helps to further enhance their development in all areas. We are an Ofsted inspected setting. The latest rating we received was 'Good'. SECTION D ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Summa of the maln achlev ments of the charl durln the ear

The setting is running smoothly with the new daily routines and staff well established and the children settled. We continue to invest in multicultural and diverse toys and games using funding from the Inclusion Funding Scheme from Leicestershire County Council to help support children with additional language needs. We have a good rapport with our parents/careers and are looking at another stay and play session as the last one was extremely popular. We have also focussed on extending our sensory play, which the children love.
