**Objects:** 1.1.1TO COMBAT SOCIAL ISOLATION AND TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF PRIMARILY ELDERLY PERSONS AND ANY OTHER PERSONS WHO ARE ISOLATED FROM SOCIETY BY THE PROVISION OF REGULAR HOME VISITS, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND TELEPHONE SUPPORT1.1.2 TO RELIEVE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARITABLE NEED BECAUSE OF AGE SICKNESS OR POOR HEALTH BY ANY PROPER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT AND INCLUDING (WHERE APPROPRIATE BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION) THE PROVISION OF ADVICE; THE PROMOTION OF GOOD PRACTICES TO COMBAT SUCH CONDITIONS AND THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES TO ALLEVIATE OR PREVENT SUCH NEED

**Activities:** Our aim is to tackle the serious impact of loneliness and isolation among older people living in Wokingham Borough. This is primarily achieved through regular home visits from volunteers. We also coordinate social events and activities which enables our clients to build relationships with others in similar circumstances.
