TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN BELOW COMPULSORY SCHOOL AGE; BY RECEIVING AND CARING FOR SUCH CHILDREN IN A DAY NURSERY ('THE DAY NURSERY') AND PROVIDING SAFE AND SATISFYING GROUP PLAY AND OTHER ACTIVITIES;4.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN ATTENDING RICHARD ROSE ACADEMY, CARLISLE ('THE ACADEMY') INCLUDING, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THROUGH THE INVOLVEMENT OF SUCH CHILDREN, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE STAFF EMPLOYED AT THE DAY NURSERY, IN THE RUNNING AND ORGANISING OF THE DAY NURSERY AND THE CARE OF THE CHILDREN THEREAT;4.3 TO ENCOURAGE OTHER ACTIVITIES THROUGH WHICH PARENTS MAY HELP THE CHILDREN;4.4 TO DO ALL SUCH THINGS AS SHALL FURTHER THE TRUST;4.5 TO CARRY OUT SUCH OTHER LEGAL PURPOSES FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BY DEED STATED TO BE SUPPLEMENTAL TO THIS DEED WITH THEIR UNANIMOUS CONSENT DECLARE.

**Activities:** The Trustees operate a day nursery for children from babies up to the compulsory schooling age.  We provide care, education and play, both in the nursery premises and by taking the children on outings.  We assist in the education of school age children in the community, and the parents of the children, as they come into the nursery and are involved.
