Oadby Community Hub Trustees, Report Legal and administrative status The Oadby Community Hub was constituted under a trust deed dated 16 August 2010 and is a registered as a charity under number 1139013 The Objectives of Oadby Community Hub The objects of Ihe charity are the advancement of the religion of Islam and education In general according lo the tenets of the Suni Islamic Faith and the relief of poverty of persons who are in condits'ons of need, hardship or distress. within England and Wales or any other part of the world. Trustees The Trustees at the end of the year were - Daud Ahmed Ismail Osman Valli Mahomed Mohammad Yousuf Aziz Risk management The trustees have a risk management strategy which includes an annual review of the risks the charty faces and the establishment of system5 and procedures to mitigate those r15ks and implementation of procedures designed to minimi5e any potential impact on the charity should those risks materialise. Reserves policy The trustees aim lo ensure that sufficient funds are maintained to enable the charity to carry oul ils activities. Review of activities for the year The charity reported a surplus during the year of £52,165 (2023: Nil ). Respectlve responsibllilies of trustees and examiner The charity's Iruslees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for thi5 year under section 14412) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) d that an independent examination 15 needed. 11 is my responsibility lo examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Acl- to follow the procedure5 laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515) Ibl of the 2011 Act.. and to state whether particular matters have come lo my altenb"on. Basis of independent examinerfs report My examination was carried out in accordance wlh general Directions given by Ihe Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accour)ting records kept by kne charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations froffl you as Irustees Con￿rning any such matters.
