Greenwood Primary & Nursery School Fund Annual Report September 2020 – August 2021
Another unusual and unsettled year for us all. School were fully open from September 2020 after the Corona Virus lockdowns, but, due to restrictions still being in place schools were not running to their full capacity and trips and residentials were limited.
Income
The Year 5 residential to Kingswood which was cancelled during lockdown went ahead in October 2020 and the children had a safe and wonderful experience. This was the only residential to take place during the year. In addition to parental contributions we received donations from our school photographer and the sale of school uniform.
Expenditure
School Fund is used to pay for educational and residential trips for children right across school. Staff try to plan first hand experiences to bring the children’s learning to life every year.
Expenditure on Visits
Year 3 children enjoyed a fun fact packed visit to Creswell Craggs. Year 6 had a visit to West Notts College to learn about universities.
