**Objects:** 1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE CONSERVATION ANDPROTECTION OF THE FLORA, FAUNA, INFRASTRUCTURE, MONUMENTS ANDBUILDINGS OF CATHAYS CEMETERY, CARDIFF.2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY ANDHERITAGE OF CATHAYS CEMETERY AND TO PROMOTE ITS IMPORTANCE ASA CONSERVATION AREA AND USE AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE.

**Activities:** The Friends undertake the following activities:- Organise regular talks and lectures which are open to all- Hold regular volunteer work days and weekly walks for health- Develop new Heritage Walks- Organise special events- Arrange specialist walks highlighting the site's biodiversity.- Publish a newsletter to promote our work- Work closely with the city's Bereavement Services
