streams ènd working relationships with a number of local sporting organisations.
During this accounting period120221231 the Skegness Sports Association Board acknowledges the
continued positive business iecovery since the pandemic. The Board itsèlf has witness•d considerable
hange in its membeFship duiing this peiiod, with the resignation of two trustees and two new
trustees joining the Board, including d change of Chairman. There has been a signlflcant increase in
income genefation. The 3G pitch revenue stream has been particularly buoyant and strong in this
peliod. As antitipaled al the start of the year, it is noted that staff costs have f15en considerably. The
Association took the decisioi) to pay hi8her than the National Minimum Wage INMWI rate for entry
level staff (Attendants at £10.50 per hour) and so maintain the existing wage differential beiween
Atteiidant and Supervi50r1£12.20 per hour) roles. The venue is operated by a small, cominitted and
reliable team, providing a good Standard of qualitylservice. Alongside staff costs, otheT elements of
operational expeiiditure Iiave also increased coi)siderably duTing this period. Natural grass pitch
maintenante, building maintenance and utility costs have Incieased. Tl)e 3G pitch rLtbber crumb infill
was èlso rejuvenated requiring an Investment of £6.7k. This will assist with pitch sustainability ènd
longevity of an excellent playing surface. This facility is vitol to the future sustainability of the venue as
a whole. The Boaid duly iiotes the small financial operating loss generated by the Sports Association iii
2022/23.
