Activities

The Charity continues to work within the Dale Park area to improve the enviroment for all residents of the Worsbrough and Barnsley area. The work with children and young people continues to be a priority for the charity. With the continuation of the play sessions throughout the summer school holiday periods and other various events planned throughout the year the Charity continues its work.

Objects: The Objects Are To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Worsbrough And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economiccircumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants, And In Particular ¨(a) To Maintain A Football Club In Order To Promote Healthy Activity Mainly Foryoung People;(b) To Maintain Dale Park And To Increase Its Usage By The Public At Large By Theprovision Of Activities Especially For Children And Young People; And(c) To Raise Funds In Order To Provide A New Building In The Park For Recreationalpurposes Including Use By The Football Club.
