Activities

Small Steps Foundation support, educate and promote the inclusion of young children with learning disability in Uganda.We run a special educational needs class within a mainstream nursery which allows the children access to education they have previously been denied and encourages early intervention and inclusion. We also run outreach and after school coaching for SEN children.

Objects: The Relief Of Young Children , Aged 3-5 Years In The Village Of Buwenda, Uganda, And Its Environs, And The Provision Of Support To Their Families And Carers In Particular By;-Providing A Safe And Stimulating Environment For The Children Of Buwenda, Uganda, With Learning Disability And Developmental Delay- Promoting The Independence And Rights Of Those Children-To Provide Respite Care To Enable The Families Or Carers To Pursue Training, Employment Or Other Worthwhile Activities-To Educate Families And The Wider Community About The Needs Of Children With Disabilities
