Victoria Road Evangelical Church is a **charitable company limited by guarantee** , governed by its constitution and trust deed. The charity is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. 

The trustees oversee: 

- strategic direction 

- safeguarding 

- financial stewardship 

- compliance with charity law 

New trustees receive induction covering governance, safeguarding, and financial controls. 

The charity operates solely from its church premises and has no subsidiaries. 

## **3. Objectives and Activities** 

The charity’s objectives are: 

- **to advance the Christian faith** 

- **to provide worship services** 

- **to offer pastoral care** 

- **to support the community through charitable outreach** 

## **Public Benefit Statement** 

The trustees confirm they have complied with section 17 of the Charities Act 2011. 

Public benefit is delivered through: 

- weekly worship services

- youth support and mentoring 

- food donations to the COGIC Aston Food Bank 

- financial assistance to individuals in need

My examination was carried out in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and applicable directions issued by the Charity Commission.
