Tel: 0121 326 0179, E-mail vrechurch@gmail.com The Church is open to the public. The Charity Trustees, those who served from 1st January to 31st December 2023 are: JM GERALD M GILBERT J GERALD M HYDE K HALL The activities of the Victoria Road Evangelical Church are overseen by the Trustees and Church Committee. The Trustees are responsible for the financial administration of the Church, the care and maintenance of the main church & Hall premises. The church meetings _(for all members wishing to attend)_ gives general guidance on the life and work of the Gospel. ## **Trustees Report YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMEBER 2023** ## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** The local congregation of Victoria Road Evangelical Church seeks to advance the Christian religion through its activities and the facilities offered to the community by its building and described more specifically in The Trustees are aware of the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit in "The Advancement of Religion for the Public Benefit" and has regard to it in the administration of the Church. The Trustees believes that the Church provides benefit to the public by: - providing resources and facilities for public worship, pastoral care and spiritual, moral and intellectual development, both for the congregation and for anyone else who wishes to benefit from what the Church offers; • promoting Christian values and service by members of the congregation to the community, for the benefit of individuals and society as a whole. ## **MAIN ACTIVITIES** Victoria Road Church activities and events for 2023: Sunday School, Sunday morning service, SEAD meeting, Choir practices, online services - Bible Study, OFFICIAL **Victoria Road Evangelical Church** _Registered Charity No: 1138638_ Pray & fasting, Leader’s meeting, prayer meeting and other groups online and in person in the church. The following groups continue to support the church members, friends, families and people in the community. - Victoria Road Cadets Academy - Sunday School - Women Rejoice - SEAD young Adults - New Converts Support - Prayer & Fast Team - Men of Valour - Worship Team - Cleaning Team - Ushers Team - Victoria Road Church Choir - Planning Committee - Media Team - Missionary Outreach Team - Victoria Road Church Leaders - The VREC Contingency Planning Team As a local congregation of the Victoria Road Evangelical Church, seeks to advance our Christian religion through its activities and services we offer to the local community in line with our statement of Faith.
