DSU aims are to advance the education of the students of DMU for the public benefit by:Providing representation, advice and assistance Providing sporting, social, cultural and recreational opportunities and facilities Promoting and encouraging contact and co-operation between students;Advancing the welfare and physical and mental wellbeing of students;
Objects: The Union's Objects ("the Objects") Are:4.1 To Advance The Education Of The Students Of De Montfort University For The Public Benefit By:4.1.1 Providing Representation, Advice And Assistance To Students On Matters Affecting Their Welfare And Interests As Students;4.1.2 Being The Recognised Representative Channel Between Students And De Montfort University And Any Other External Body;4.1.3 Providing Sporting, Social, Cultural And Recreational Opportunities And Facilities For Students So As To Further The Educational Purposes Of De Montfort University;4.1.4 Promoting And Encouraging Contact And Co-Operation Between Students; And4.1.5 Advancing The Welfare And Physical And Mental Well Being Of Students;4.2 All Such Objects As Are Charitable In Law Which Are Incidental Or Conducive To The Foregoing Objects.?
