Activities
The Ministry of Stories is a creative writing and mentoring centre for young people in east London. We use storytelling to inspire young people aged 8-18, in the belief that writing unleashes their imaginations and builds confidence, self-respect and communication.
Objects: 4 (1) To Advance Education For The Public Benefit In Writing And Reading In Allits Forms;4 (2) To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Age Of 18 By Providingadvice And Assistance, Organising Programmes Of Education And Otheractivities As A Means Of:(a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Theirskills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate Insociety As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;(b) Advancing Education;(c) Relieving Unemployment; And4(3) To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing Peoplefrom Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those Peoplewho Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society.for The Purpose Of This Article 'Socially Excluded' Means Being Excluded Fromsociety, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Of More Of The Following Factors:unemployment; Financial Hardship; Youth Or Old Age; Ill Health (Physical Ormental); Substance Abuse Or Dependency Including Alcohol And Drugs;discrimination On The Grounds Of Sex, Race, Disability, Ethnic Origin, Religion,belief, Creed, Sexual Orientation Or Gender Re-Assignment; Poor Educational Orskills Attainment; Relationship And Family Breakdown; Poor Housing (That Ishousing That Does Not Meet Basic Habitable Standards; Crime (Either As Avictim Of Crime Or As An Offender Rehabilitating Into Society).
