The Parochial Church Council (PCCI is a body corporate and operates Lmder the Parochial Churth
Councils {Powersl measure 1956 and the Church Representalion Rules. The PCC is 8 charity
resistered w¢th the Charity Commission on the 22nd December 2010. (Charity reglstration numbeT
1138521).
The method of appointment of PCC members is set out In the (￿Urch Representation Rules. All
Church atterthes ar8 encouraged to regisler on th8 Electoral Roll and stsnd for eledon to the
pcc.
The PCC are responsibl8 for making decislons on all matters of general conwn and imp)rtance to
the parish, Induding decldlng on how funds of the PCC are lo b8 spent.
ObigctiV05 and acllvlues
The PCC has the responslbility of c>xiperating with the incumbent in promoting the mission of the
church - pastoral, evangellstic. soaal and ecumenlcal. It also has Maintenan￿ responsibilities for
the Church of St Paul's.
Some of the PCCS Activit￿ are: Regular public worship open to 811,. The provision of sacred spar6
for personal prayer and ts)ntemplation' Teaching of Christianlty through semions. courses and small
groups; Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings., Pastoral work,
including visiting the sick and the bereaved,. Supporting other chariiiés in the UK and overseas.

I report on the accounts for the yoar end8d 31 December 2024, ￿leh ar8 set out on
pages 6 10 12.

The charity's Irustees are resF)onsible for the preparation of th6 accounts. Th8 charitls
trustees ￿nsider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of Ihe
Charltles Act 2011 (the Charili8s Act) and that an Independent examination 15 needed.
It is my responsibility to:
examine Ihe awounls under section 145 of the Charltles Act,
to follow the proc&Jur8s laid down in Ihe general Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under section 145{5}(b) of the Charities Acl. and
to stste whether partlcular mattgrs hav8 com8 to my attention.

My examination was carrfad out in accordance wth general Directions glven by the
Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of the accounliNJ reo)rds kept
by the charity and a ￿MParIS0n of thg accounts presented wth those records. It also
includes consideralion of any unusual items or disdosures in the account5. and
seeking explanations from the truslees conc*rnlng any such rnatte￿. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and
cons8qu6nlly no opinion Ès givèn as to whather the accounts present a 'true and fai
view and the reprxl is Ilmited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Clergy expenses of £1.250 were paid to Cannon D Perclval. Other than relmbursement for
ltsms purchased on behalf cl the charity, thgre were no further payments or remuneration
made to m8mbers of the PCC.

No payments were made lo any per80ns dosety connectsd to the members of the PCC
or to any ret8ted parties
6. Funds held as agent
The PCC a¢ts as agent for the ¢o118ctlon of weddir¥J fees for th8 Diocesan Board of
Finan¢e (DBF). The fees are the legal property of the DBF and are accounted for
58parately. Fees for funerals are collected and dlstrfbuted to the PCC. DBF and various
parties by the funeral Dlrector.
Donations collecled for assigned Charities 8t lunerals and 8ervke8 ar8 also Ireated as
funds held as agent in the aC￿￿nts.
Where the PCC is actlng as agent. the transaclions are nol recognised in the Receipts
