Wolverhampton Muslim Forum has been setup as a charitable organisation, which was officially launched on the 21st February 2010, this charity aims to act as an outreach service to build community capacity, by delivering a range of initiatives and projects that promote a positive role for Muslim's in the social, educational and economical aspects of society.

Objects: A) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Wolverhampton And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfareand With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.b) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit By:i) The Elimination Of Discrimination And Promotion Of Equality For All Citizens Regardless Of Race, Gender, Disability, Sexuality Or Religion;ii) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity;iii) Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgroundsiv) Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity.c) To Advance The Education Of The Public, In Particular But Not Exclusively, By The Provision Of English Language Classes For Young People.d) To Promote A Better Understanding Of The Islamic Religion For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Educational Lectures, Public Celebration Of Religious Festivals And Producing And/or Distributing Literature On The Islamic Faith To Enlighten Others About The Religion, So That Misconceptions And Misunderstanding Can Be Eliminated.e) The Relief Of Financial Need And Suffering Among Victims Of Natural Or Other Kinds Of Disaster In The Form Of Money (or Other Means Deemed Suitable) For Persons, Bodies, Organisations And(or Countries Affected [including The Provision Of Medical Aid].f) For Any Such Other Purposes Deemed Charitable By The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine
