The Trust has been created in order to raise money to provide and assist in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment for Talbot Butler Ward at the Northampton General Hospital and the Cawthorne Ward at Danetre Hospital.To advance the education of the general public to awareness of cancer.

Objects: Clause 3 Application Of Incomethe Trustees Must Apply The Income Of The Charity In Furthering The Following Objects ("The Objects") :-(I) To Relieve Sickness And To Preserve The Health Of Patients Of Talbot Butler Ward At Northampton General Hospital, Northamptonshire And Cawthorne Ward At Danetre Hospital, Daventry, Northamptonshire By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Equipment, Facilities And Services And(ii) To Preserve And Protect The Health Of Patients Of The Said Wards By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities, Support Services And Equipment(iii) To Promote And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of Sufferers Of Cancer In Northamptonshire Through The Provision Of Financial Assistance, Support, Education And Practical Advice And(iv) To Advance The Education Of The General Public In All Areas Relating To Cancer.
