The National Association for Youth Justice is a membership organization which seeks to promote the welfare and protect the rights of children and young people involved in the youth justice system in England and Wales, to which end it provides advice, training and information to members, supporters and others who support its aims.
Objects: To Promote The Human Rights Of Children And Young People (as Set Out In The Fullrange Of International Standards, Treaties, Rules, Conventions And Guidelinesthereon, Including The UN Convention On The Rights Of The Child And All Relatedunited Nations Conventions And Declarations) Throughout The World ¨ And Inparticular Within England And Wales - By All Or Any Of The Following Means:= Monitoring Abuses Of Human Rights;= Obtaining Redress For The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;= Relieving Need Among The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;= Research Into Human Rights Issues;= Providing Technical Advice To Government And Others On Human Rightsmatters;= Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Human Rights Law;= Commenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislation;= Raising Awareness Of Human Rights Issues;= Promoting Public Support For Human Rights;= Promoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals And Corporations;= International Advocacy Of Human Rights;= Eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights.
