Objects: 1.to Promote Restorative Justice For The Public Benefit As A Means Of Resolving Conflict And Promoting Reconciliation By:a)promoting The Use Of Restorative Justice In The Criminal Justice System, In Schools,in The Workplace And Elsewhere In The Community In Situations Where Conflictmay Arise.b)advancing Education And Research On Restorative Justice And The Publication Ofthe Useful Results Of That Research.2. To Advance The Education And Training Of Migrant Communities And Their Dependantsin Need Thereof So As To Advance Them In Life And Assist Them To Adapt Within A Newcommunity.restorative Justice Is A Process Wherebya) All The Parties With A Stake In A Particular Conflict Or Offence Come Togetherto Resolve Collectively How To Deal With Its Aftermath And Its Implications Forthe Future, Andb) Offenders Have The Opportunity To Acknowledge The Impact Of What Theyhave Done And To Make Reparation, And The Victims Have The Opportunity Tohave Their Harm Or Loss Acknowledged And Amends Made.
