With the forthcoming introduttion of a new government curriculum for secondary schools. copie5 of

manage risin8 food prices.
Bishop Joseph infomed us that the government intends a major reorganlsation of natlonal
education in 2 yearfs time which will comprise:
2 years of pre-prfrnary schooling
6 years of prlmary {Instead of 7, and w5th no year 7 exam)
4 years of secondary, to O level
2 years of A level course.
On Il, October Blshop Joseph accom￿nIed us on a vlsit to St Michael's SctrK)ol on what was
8raduation day. We were wamty 8reeted by the Headmaster Mr Francis Malugu and his staff. We

We made 3 second vlsFt to the school on 14th October when we were a8aln welcomed by the

The students responded well to our questions about pros and cons ￿lating to the school. We took
group photos and then indivldual ones for their sponsors. This was folbwed by a tour of the school
buildings includin8 laboratories, kltchen and hostels. Routlne maintenance of the buildings Is needed
