l Am plegsed to report that core income {stewardship, colleetiong, donations 2nd
recover￿) increased slightly and General Fund shows a surplus again this year.
I'he Diocese set the Parish SL￿dard Cost (Common Pund) for 2023 at £87,775. The PCC
agrecd that our ofter should remain at £52,000 tor another y¢ar. It had b¢cn hop¢d that our
contribution could be increascd to at1&2St cover our share of Diocesan clergy costs (£57.265)
but regretfully, this has not been possible. The PCC feel it is important to keep to their
decision that our Common Fund contribution should not exceed approximately 75 % of core
income in ordcr to prot¢ct r¢sourc¢8 tor mission at St. Nicholas.
In the last few tnonths of 2022, the financial focus turned to the Tower Appeal. There has
b¢¢n a v¢ry g¢n¢rous r¢st)onsc trom both lh¢ congr¢gation and thc widcr ¢ommwiity. We
aLknuwledge with thanks ail these donations, with special thanks to the Friends ofst.
Nicholas tor their contribution of £25,000.

As the charitytrustees of the St Nicholas Church. Shepperton you are responsible for the preparation of
the accounts in accordance with the requirernents of the Charities Act 20111'the Art'l.
I report in respect of my examination of the St Nicholas Church. Shepperton accounts carried out under
