Independent Auditorfs Report
For the Financial Year Ended 30th September 2025
l. Introdurtion
I have examined the accounting records of Hatfield Town Cricket Club for the financial year
ended 30th September 2025. My review included inspectton of the club's electronic
accounts. bank statements, receipts, and sUPPOrting documentation provided by the
Treasurer.
2. Treasurerfs Responsibilities
The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. safeguarding club
funds, and preparing the annual accounts in accordance with the club's constitution and
good financial practice.
3. Auditorfs Responsibilities
My responsibility is to review the accounts presented and provide an independent opinion
on whether they give a true and fair view of the club's financial position. This review is
based on the records supplied and does not constitute a full sLitutory audit
4. Scope of Review
The audit procedures included:
- Checking that all income and expenditure entries were supported by receipts or invoices
- Reconciling the cashbook and accounts to the bankstatements
- Verifying that bank balances at year-end matched the club's reported balances
- Reviewing any petty cash records
- Checking for consistenry. accuracy. and proper record-keeping
5. Findings
Based on the records examined:

- A]1 bank ststements were provided and reconciled corrertly.
- The closing balances in the accounts match the balances shown on the bank statements.
- All receipts and supporting documents were presenL accurate. and Matched the amounts
recorded.
- No discrepancies. irregularities, or concerns were identified in the financial records.
- The accounts have been maintained in an orderly and transparent manner.
6. Auditor's Opinion
In my opinion. the accounts of Hatfield Town Cricket Club for the financial year ended 30th
September 2025 give a true and fair view of the club's financial position. The financial
Tecords are accurate, complete. and supported by appropriate documentation.
