3. Chairman’s report
No chairman’s report was provided this year as Andy Cutts resigned from position earlier in the year. Patrick Platt stood in as chair for the meeting.
4. Secretary’s report.
MY provided a brief report on the past season. She acknowledged the club had a difficult year due to player availability and thanked those players that had put themselves forward to ensure the club did not have to concede any games. She congratulated the second team for winning division 7 and

gaining promotion once again with a movement into division 6 next season. The first team finished in top half of the table and will remain in division 2 next year.
It was noted that the ladies have struggled this season with availability fulfilling softball and hardball fixtures and did not win either of the leagues entered this year. Next year they are looking for more structured coaching to improve the team.
As many are aware the club were called to a probation meeting with Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League at the end of the season. They noted the disciplinary issues faced by the club during the season and informed us that we have failed to pass our probation period with the league. Due to actions taken by the club in supporting investigations the league has agreed to extend our probation. The committee members attending the meeting were informed that any further disciplinary issued raised against the club next season will result in an immediate expulsion from the league.
Club has submitted request to rejoin Sunday League this year. Proposal accepted by Barnsley and District Cricket League but need to await final decision following A
This has been a successful year for funding and MY noted that the club have successfully received £10k funding from ECB for phase 1 of the pavilion build. This funding, alongside the money raised last year will be used for building new home changing rooms and toilet block. Work will start over the winter months and should be completed by for start of new season.

Add the following statement into the Code of Conduct:
As per ECB Recreational Conduct Regulations 2023 off-field conduct obligations can apply to both participation in recreational cricket or occur outside their direct participation.

Add in the following paragraph into the code of conduct:
Any player, or participant should report any incidents to the team captain immediately following the game who, if they deem it appropriate should either discuss it with the umpire or advise player to report it to the club secretary by email within 24 hours.
