The actNities undertaken to futher pubh"c benefit are the advancement of amateur sport and assoGiated
education.
The trustees confim that they have complied wrth the requifemerts of section 17 of the Chanties Act 2011
to have due ￿gard to the public benefft guKlance published by the Charity Commission lor Englansj and
Wales.

Chairnian's r¢port
We have experienced anolher extremety difficull year due to Ihe pandern￿ both on and off the field. Due to
Covid resiricbons and sh(rtdowns many of our ￿am$ and members were unable to fulfil fixlures and the
seasons were cut short in mosl lea9ues. On Ihe finanrial side the club took a comrnon sense approach and
rnade il a priority lo maintain the financial health of the tharty by cutting badl on all nolkessential
expEnditLFre. The club also took the derysion to continue io pay key parlnefs during the lockdown so they
can be ready io contsnue 7Mth us as and when the lockdown ends. l am pleased to ￿port that ihi5 has all be
managed well and the dub is currenty in a good place financialty. We have also t￿tsnUed to support any
parenls that have struggled finanoalty due lo th¢ pandernic.
Govemment frjnding helped to fill the Yo￿ left by the lack of sporting actiwties and the Sports NatiLinal
Governing Body grants helped us to get lootball back up and running. I would also like lo thank all the
¥￿UnteerS vtho continued to work behind the scenes to mamtsin ow facihtses during the lockdowm. ￿thout
these people our club would %mpty not lunc1K￿.

controls we have in place we are expecting and howng to extend the life of the current surface lo the end of
the 2025126 season. but Ih15 wll require Ihe dub to continue to keep very tvJht controls ￿ the hours of
sage and rigorou5 maintenance and usage poliLies_ The current C05t to replace the surface is circa
£180,000. We have'eamiarked. 3G replacernent funds of £S0.000 a5 of 30th June 2021.
Sevenoaks Town FC (STFCI offers a "FOO￿￿1 for af in the Sevenoaks area, running teams and
coaching in a safe and frien{J￿ enyironfflent for those aged 4 Yea￿ c4d and above. For the season 2020121
we operated nine senior teams including a mens first team that played in the Isthmian League {slep 41, tw
veteran's teams that ￿aYed in the Soulhern Veterans League. four Power Wheelchair teams. one played in
the National League, one in Ihe Regional League and one in the Oevekjpmeni League, one ladies leam
thal played in Ihe South East Count￿5 Women's League and our communty Walkt'ng Football. There were
also 55 youth team5 plawng in the Maidstone Primary Inwcts League. Crov*borough and District Junior
Football League, Tandnijge League. Kent Youlh League and Kent Girfs and Lad￿$ League.
Our aim is to prowde youn9 footballets in the area with a pathway from youlh foolball into th¢ senior game.
Thi5 15 a ma551ve step towdrds buitding strong foundaty.ons and keepin9 football lor children and seniors
alike in the town lor many years to come. Our ambitson is to have our own homegrown tslent moving
through the age group5 and s*Mded th￿re not talent-spolted first there is a clear pathway into senior
football for these youngsters.
The pandemic has highlighted what an amazing cornmunty Sevenoaks Town FC is. not just by suppoth.ng
each other wrthin the dub bul also provKling support to the wder CDmmuntty. Something we should all be
very prou¢J of.

be￿een the dub and local schools and educate chiklren of the benefits of regular acliwty and a healthy
diet. The scheme also pro¥ide5 our youlh players an opportunity to leam and develop coathing skills
under supervision from our established qualified coaches.

The Club is ac￿vety pursuing the plans to build a fit for purpose dub house at Gteatness Park lo enhance
Ihe prowsion of 5POrts facil￿"e$ lor our hxal GomrTwity. We submitted our planning application on 291h
D￿rnbel 2020.
The charty's approach to reserves is to ￿$v￿ that at all tim?5 a minimum of £20.000 is kept as an
operational contingency fund. whK* wo￿3 help to co¥er e¥ents such as vandalism to our laulikn.es and
shortfall In ￿Venue.
We also aim to have a sink lund Yor our 3G up to £20.LJ)O per year. The estmated cost to ￿Place
the surf¥¢e after 8 to 10 years usage is rifca £180.IJCQ.
We received planning consent on wr appl¢ation for a new dub house in September 2021 with a projected
build starting May 2023 5ubFrt lo any planning conditions and successfulty securing funding.

The 3G pitch and stadium development tontmues to be the flagship of the Club and associateil revenue

Se¥enoaks Town FC LiM￿led was registered as a charity back in 2010 50 that the Club could appty for Gift
Aid. This year ttte Club received £33,175 in Gth Aid.
