The trustees actively review the maior risks whlch the charity faces on a regular basls and
belleve that 6 months rLbnnin8 costs as reserves, combined with an annual review of controls
over key financlal system5. will provide sufficient resources in the event of adverse
conditions. The trustees have also examlned other operational and business risks faced bv
the charity and confirm thal they have established systems to mitigate the sBnificant risks.

Lelcester Prlde Is a communlty based charity wlth a prlmary focus on the Gay. Lesbian,
Bisexual, and transgender community in Leicester. Leicestershire and Rutland. The charity's
maln aim 15 to promote understandlng and acceptsnce of the Gay community wlth In thls
rea also encompasslng the Heterosexual community so as to foster good relations.
Although this event is an annual event the trustees and board of dlrector5 are continual
meetlng to ensure the evenl Is a success (for all the at￿ve mentioned). Leicester Pride
slrives to work with Leicester City council Ihereafter known as LCCI, Leicester Constabulary
Ihereafter known a5 LCI. Leicester Fire SeNice (he￿after known as LFSI, and all relevant
emergency services to promote • safe envlronment for all.
In 2017- 2019 Leicester Pride in conlunctlon wlth Trade sexual health had a well belng tent
on Vlctorla Park to help promote awareness of matters not just appertalnin8 to the Gav
community but also the Heterosexual Community by enabling them to have testin8 for STD'S
with an on the stop ￿suIt. thls was a 8reat success and Leicestef Prlde in conjunctlon with
the LG8T centre and Trade Sexual Health look forward to bein8 able to supply thls on a
regular basis. Pride also work alon8side with the LCC to also help promote dSversity wlthln
Leicester and Lekester5hi￿.

Public Benefit when revlewing our aims and objertives, arKI sn planning our fvture activities.
The charity believes it has provided a public benefit during the year throu8h the areas
outlined in the paragraph headed "Objectives and ActNItEes". and also in "Achievernents and
Performance". As trustees we take our charftable role very seriously and the charlty works
hard to make sure that it provides charitable seNices that are sociably inclusive.
