Play Torbay provides active and creative play across the communities in Torbay. There are
playgrounds in Brixham and PawJnton and we have developed a play Ser¥￿e In both tth¥ns which
pvjvides adventure. ftiendship and fun for hundreds of young people each year. School aged children
and their families are ihe main beneficiarie5 of our work. but all children are welcL)me induding babies
and toddlers. AdditsOn￿ty. we are commrtted to buibding a supportive e(x)system for disadvantaged

The objects of our thartty are:
To enharKe the development and education of t*ildren of Torbay through play
To advance the education of thg publlc regarding the Imwtance of thildren's play
We believe play is key to thildren's d8vel¢)pmenL their leaming. confidenc8. and wellbeing. We also
Ihlnk that unstructured. seW-dire(led. free play is the best type of play for young children. We know
that as children grow, the VRY they play c*aThJ8s and that our understanding and respon58s should
