**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE GUILD ARE: 1. THE FURTHERANCE AND THE ENHANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:1.1. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INTERCOURSE BETWEEN STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM AND THE FURTHERANCE OF THE COMMON INTERESTS OF SUCH STUDENTS; AND1.2. THE SUPPORT OF SUCH SOCIETIES THAT SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BE RECOGNISED BY THE GUILD.

**Activities:** We operate on democratic principles and students are represented by our Members Democratic Process. We provide services such as Student Advice; Jobs, Skills and Volunteering; Student Groups; Hall Reps; Student Voice; Mentor Scheme; Community Wardens; Venues and marketing services. We campaign on student related local, national and international issues and also support work of the NUS.
