venue5. and experiencing audience intertctton for the first time offered the yo￿8 dwKers new skills and experiences.
Young people had the Op[￿tilnity to lead W1￿UpS and ts prxtice the rouiines with children and adults. Chaperones dso
developed their skills during this proj¢¢t. They *Er¢ trained and debriefed after perfonDaDce and managed 8roups of
thildren in ¢ballenging ¢ondiuons owing to the mulriple ¢OStsrne cbanges and the hot weathw. Two da￿¢ artists
emphasised the career development opp)rtunity that the project provid¢d. Funding from the E5mée Fairbairn Foundation
ethled ACE danrx music to tr3in the danc¢r5 ty I￿kn Primary scbool ¢hildten. The5¢ W¢Te daDceT5 whD had MvTkEd
ACE daA)ce and music when they wrre childrm and onc DDW had the opportunity ty go b&k to the primary school
