Activities

There are a number of organised groups who use the Hall on a regular basis, offering a range of activities for people within the community of all ages, from the very young to the older but young at heart. There are some regulars, such as the Q55 group who have used the Hall for a number of years. The Hall is available for private hire. Contact is via the Hall manager on 0780329354.

Objects: (a) To Promote Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Ecclesiastical Parish Of St. Cuthbert And St. Oswald, Hebburn In The Deanery Of Jarrow In The Diocese Of Durham And The Surrounding Areas As Defined On The Plan Annexed Hereto And The Neighbourhood (herinafter Called "the Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions In Particular By Associating The Diocesan Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;(b) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Neighbourhood Centre (hereinafter Called "the Centre") And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Or Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Association And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects;(c) The Association Shall Be Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion..
