Activities
To meet the needs of Karamojong children and their community in Uganda.To meet those needs mainly by support to a primary school in the provision of text books and other supplies and by providing buildings and equipment at the school. To provide educational bursaries. To assist the school and other areas of the community with nutritional meals and other forms of support.
Objects: The Charity's Objects ("The Objects"), Being Primarily Undertaken In Uganda But Notrestricted To This Area Are:i. The Relief Of Sickness And The Promotion Of Good Healthii. The Advancement Of Education And Skills Training By Engaging In Formalschooling And Vocational Trainingiii. The Relief Of Poverty And Financial Hardship By Providing Or Assisting Inthe Provision Of Support Designed To Enable Individuals To Generate Asustainable Income And Be Self-Sufficientiv. The Promotion Of Equality Of Opportunity Between Men And Women, Inparticular But Not Exclusively By:a) Providing Information And Raising Awareness Of The Issues Facingwomen In Ugandab) Encouraging Members Of The Karamojong Community In Ugandato Allow The Participation Of Women In Decision Making Processesc) Working With Both Men And Women In Carrying Out Programs Onthe Prevention Of Domestic Violence Against Women And Girlsd) Empowering Women And Girls To Play A Greater Role With Respect Toparticipating In Their Community And Its Development
