The trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March
2024.
The Truste¢s have adopted the provisions of the Statement of Recolnmended Practice (SORP)
Accounting and Reporting by Charities issued in 2005 in preparing the annual report
and financial statements of the Charity.

Objects, Principal Activities and Organisation of the Charity
The Charity was established wAth aims & objectives as follows:
To promote th¢ benefits of the Bangladeshi inhabitants living in England and Bangladesh
the following charitable purposes=
a) To Prevent or relief of poverty in the UK and intemationally by providing or assisting in the provision of
Education, Training. Healthcare projects and all the necessary grants, itelns and services to
individuals in need to relieve poverty.
b) To advan0¢ the Islamic Religion for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings,
Lectures. Teachin& producing and distributing literature to enlighten others about the Religion.

Organisation:
A Management Committee, the members of whith are the trustees manages the affairs of the charty
The Management Committee manages the business of the charity induding the pawng of all expenses
Trustees:
Trustees, who are all members of the executive committee, and who served during the year are
set out on page 3.
The trustees are elected at the Annual GeneraI Meeting, for membership of the Executive Committee
and serve until the end of the next Annual General Meeting, where they can stand for re- election
as members of the new Executive Committee.
Trustees responsibilities in relation to the fRnancial statements
The committee or Trustees are requÉred by charitys law to prepare financial statements for cach financial year
which give a true and fair view of the fmancial activities of the charity and of its financial position at
the end of that year. In preparing those financial statements the Trustees are required to:

The Charity {Accounts and Reports) Regulabons 2008 and the provisions of the trust deed. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of Ihe chanty and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention
and detection of fraud and other irregulartties
VOLUNTEERS:
The Trustees wish to record their app￿ath-On on behalf ofthe Charity and community for the volunteers who .
assist in the smooth running of the Charity and are crits.cal in helping to keeps the running costs down
RISK REVIEW:
The Trustees have conducted their own review of the major risks to vthith the Charity is exposed and steps
have been initiated to minimise the idenb.fied nsks. Al funcb"on5 of the Charity are subjected to periodic review
resulting in a process of ongoing improvement.

SERIOUS INCIDENTS AND EXCEPTIONS:
The Trustees are pleased to note. that there were no inadents which gave rise to the need for the Trustees
to lodge a Serious Incident Report wilh the Charity Commission. Furthermore, there were no Ex￿ptionS
recorded and which gave nse to the need for the Trustees lo record on the Charity's Excepbons, Register.
RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS:
During the year the Charrty was under the control of Trustees and Management Committee members as listed above.
This report, which has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of Part 15 of the
Companies Act 20[￿ applicable lo small companies.
No members of the management committee re￿iVed any remunerats.on during the year.
No trustee or other person related to the charity had any Pe￿onal interest in any contract or
transaction entered into by the charity during the year.
Reserve Policy
It is the policy of the charity that unresth'cted funds, which have not been designated for a specific use.
should be maintained at a level equivalent to its expenditure. The Trustees consider that
reseNes at this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding. They will be able to
conts'nue the charitys current activities while considerabon is given to ways in which addib.onal funds may
be raised. The Centre will ath.vely work to achieve this level of reserves.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER
According to the provisions of the Charities Act 2008 and updated 2011, the Committee has agreed that and
audit is not required for this financial year. However due to provisions of the same act an independenl examiner
is required and AM Accountancy Services appointed as extemal Accountant or Independent Examiner.
Transaction and financial position
The Statement of Financial Acb"vities shows net surplus for the year of £6.967 and our accumulated
ftjnds stand at £104,162 in total.
AM Accountancy SeNices carried out an independent examination of the acrnunts induded in Ihe report.

We report on the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 set out on pages 8 to 12 which have
been prepared under the historical cost convention and the accountsng tKJlicies set out in note 1
to the financial statements.
Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Accountants
As described on page 5 the trustees are responsible for the preparation olthe financial
statements. and they consider that the trust Is exempt from an audit. It 15 our responsibility
to cary out proc-dures designed to enable us to report our opinion to you.
Basis of Opinion
We conducted our work in accordance with the Statement of Standards for Reports"ng Accountants,
and so our prO￿dureS consisted of comparing the accounts wth the accounting records kept by the
charity, and making such limited enquiries of the tnjstees and Offi￿rS as we considered necessary
for the purpose of this report. These procedures provide only the assurance expressed in our opinion.

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
a. Basis of Accounting
Basis of accounting The Financial Statements have been prepared under the historical cosl convenbon,
as modified by the revaluats.on of certain fixed assets and investsnents measured at market value.
The Financial Statements have been prepared in actordance with the Finanaal Reporb"ng Standard foi
Smaller Entities {effecb"ve January 2015}. and the requirements of Accounting and Reporting by Charities."

b. Grants
Revenue grants are credited to the Income and Expenditure account on a receivable basis.
. Donations
Donation are recorded on a re￿Ipt basis.
d. Incoming Resources
Voluntary income and donations are induded in incoming resources when they are re￿1Vable,
ex￿pt when the donors specify that they must be used in future accounting penods or donors,
conditions have not been fulfilled. then the income is deferred. The income from fundraising ventures
is shown gross. with the associated costs induded in fundraising costs.
e. Resources Expended
Resources expended are included in the Statement of Finanaal Activities on accruals basis,
inclusive of any VAT that cannot be recovered.
Expenditure that is direcuy attributable to speafic acbvits.es has been induded in these cost
categories. Where costs are attributable to more than one acb'vtty. they have been appo￿"Oned
across the cost categortes on a basis consistent vath the use of those resour￿$.
f. Golng Concern Basis
The financial statements have been prepared on the going concem basis. as in the opinion of the
trustees. Ihere are no issues arising which would suggest any other basis as being more
appropriate
g. Administration Costs
Administration expenditure indudes all expenditure not directly related to the charitable ath"vity.
h. Taxation
As a charity. they are exempt from tax on income and gains falling vnthin
section 505 of the Taxes Act 1988 or s256 of the Taxabon of Chargeable Gains Act 1992 to Ihe
extent that these are applied to its charitable objects. No tax charges have ansen in the ChaTrty.
i. Depreciation:
Depreciation is calculated so as to write off the cost of an asseL less tis estimated residual value, over
the useful economic life of that asset as follows-
