To advance the education of the pupils of Dysart School and to promote
and protect the physical and mental health of children with disabilities
and their carers, in particular, but not exclusively, by providing facilities or
equipment which supports the school and developing effective
relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the
school.

Dysart School is a special needs school in Surbiton educating children
(aged 4 to 19) with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
FODS is a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for Dysart School. It is a
registered charity that raises money in order to provide specialist
equipment and memorable experiences for the pupils.
FODS puts on several social events each year, some aimed at
entertaining the pupils and others at parents and friends to help fundraise
The latter also acts as an opportunity for parents to get together and
make friends.

The Trustees have complied with the duty in section 17(5) of the

Achievements and performance
During the reporting year 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 FODS helped to
fund and organise several school events including Dressing up days,
celebration events and Easter events.

During the year a grant of £23,025 was made to Dysart School to fund an
outside gym on the school grounds for the pupils.

The Trustees consider the charity requires a minimum of £1,000 as free
reserves for contingencies arising from unexpected events. All other
unrestricted funds are available to further the charitable purposes of the
organisation.

The charity's principal source of funds continues to be donations received
from a local company whose employees organise fundraising events
through the year and a share of those funds, matched by the company
are shared between a few local charities, FODS being one of them.

organised fundraising events and periodically through grants from trusts.

I report to th8 trustees on my examination of the accounts of tha above
charity ("the Trusv,) for the year anded 31 March 2025
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are rasponsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requiraments of tha Charities Act
2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records. or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the fonn and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a "true and fairf, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
