activities undertaken||for the|Vsnik Counci1 initiated a 'Befriending'
service for the people within
North
London area. The aim of this project is to provide
social
contact
to
lonely
adults
within
our
community;
spiritual
and
religious
care to sick people and give support
to and signpost
mentally
ill
people
to
the
appropnate
agencies
to
provide
safeguarding
assistance.
This activity benefits
both the Jsin and
Hindu communities,
men, and women,
young as well as elderly.|
