Our pre-school has enhanced the exlIent work it does in this very poor area and is highly commended by Ofsted and Derbyshire County Council. The differen this work has made to both children and parents mental and physical wellbeing is gratifying and uplifting. We now mentor 100 children, 10 of which are classed as being very vulnerable. We work very closely with Social serViS, and the police, on very serious and delicate matters with exlIent outcomes. Holiday and breakfast clubs are now operats'ng sucsSfUllY giving children and parents more good Chols. We have applied good practices to deal with these circumstances and strengthen the position of the charity. The charity continues the excellent work, is debt free and therefore can give 100 % focus to the problems of these young children that they face in their very difficult circumstances.
