Activities

We advance the Christian religion and enlighten the community through our sermons on the adoption of Christian virtues in daily living, their needs with the aim of integrating them back into society.Through Kind donations by members of the public we have been able to carry out the projects listed above.

Objects: 1) To Advance The Christian Religion For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Prayer Meetings, Lectures. Public Celebration Of Religious Festivals And/or Distributing Literature On The Christian Faith To Enlighten Others About The Christian Religion.2) To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Onto Society. For The Purpose Of This Clause "Socially Excluded" Means Being Socially Excluded From Society Or Parts Of Society As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors, Unemployment, Financial Hardship, Youth Or Old Age, Ill Health (Physical Or Mental). Substance Abuse Or Dependency Including Alcohol And Drugs, Discrimination On The Grounds Of Sex, Race, Religion, Disability, Ethnic Origin, Belief, Creed, Sexual Orientation Or Gender, Re-Assignment, Poor Education Or Skills Attainment, Relationship And Family Breakdown. Poor Housing (That Is Housing That Does Not Meet Basic Habitable Standards: Crime (Either As A Victim Of Crime Or As An Offender Rehabilitating Into Society).3) To Act As A Resource For Young People Between The Ages Of 11-16 Living In The London Borough Of Hackney. In Particular Those From A Black Ethnic Minority Background, By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals,b) Advancing Education.c) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.4) To Further Such Other Purposes For The Benefit Of The London Borough Of Hackney As The Trustees May Determine.
