The charity’s principal
sources of funds (including
any fundraising)
Para 1.47 Legacies are proving to be extremely
beneficial to LCR in recent times.
We continue to hold regular Flea Markets
at Barton Village hall (selling donated
items).
We also have the “Friends of LCR” that
make monthly donations of varying
ammounts by standing order.
Investment policy and
objectives including any
social investment policy
adopted
Para 1.46 In view of the fact that investments can
go down as well as up, we think it would
be reckless to gamble with the LCR fund.
Some of us remember the Icelandic bank
collapse, some Charities lost millions.
Consequently we earn very little interest
in very safe accounts.
A description of the principal
risks facing the charity
Para 1.46 Income reduction is a very real
possibility, there is no guarantee that we
