**Objects:** THE PROPERTY AND THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME SHALL B E APPLIED FOR THE PURPOSES OF A PARISH CENTRE FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF THORNER WITH SCARCROFT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE, DISABILITY, NATIONALITY, RACE OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE OF THE PROPERTY FOR MEETINGS,LECTURES AND CLASSES OR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS

**Activities:** Thorner Parish Centre is an inclusive venue where activities include  a Mums and Tots group, dance school, meetings, parties, exhibitions, art group, youth club and community choir to promote social, physical and mental well being.A successful cafe type Drop-By Social began in March 2011.  Since 2013 the roof, insulations and all windows were replace following extensive fund raising activities.
