FINANCIAL REPORT 2024 AUGusf 2023 TO AUGUST 2024
Thls yearfs fundlng is con5iderèbly up by £21,305 and fee Incoffte is up by £13,S90. So a total ralsed incomè of
£34,895.00 last year. Whlch is font35tic' thls Is due to the 2 Year'FuDdlng coffllng In In April 202A, Many of our
children received thls (IS Hours Per weekl, The funding wt7s higher thai) the fees and then are r)umbers
increased conslderably throughout the year Ind the additlonal char8e for sundrles on each chlld's session has
also brou8hl extr8 income into the settirig. A great idèa put Fonvard by Jo. 80th I, Trad and Jo worked nofi
pald hours 4nd between us have taken up the cleaning of the settlng. Many thanks to you both'.for 5UPPQrtln8
thSs. We are now golng to get the settln8 deep deaned evèry term to keep on top of the hyglene. Ann-marle,
Laura and Li58 811 reduced th￿11 hours for a perlod and Llsi.has remalned on a four day per week.
Fundralsins artd sundries Income was a huge amount of £3416.00 so wlth the increase of the fees and fundlng
incorne an increase of £38,311, This ha5 resulted In a year-end balance of E31,561 rather than,a deficlt o*
1£15,0281 as in last years end of year accounts.
As you can see accounts are very healthy which Is vital to increase wages aggin In April for all
staff th15 fjme due to the Natlonal Minimum Wa8e going up a8aln In Aprll 2025. Thi5 in turn
will see the fee charges Inerease in Ilne wlth the RPI percentage increase ensuring that we
do not end up In a deficlt at the end of the next financial year.

Ano'ther good year at the Sir Robert Gefferfs Pre-
School. The parents I have had contact with give
nothing but glowing reports of their child's care
within the setting.
Our Pre-school is so blessed with incredibly
resilient, creative staff members who continue to
put the children first every day.
There is often some eomings and goings on a staff
team and the Pre-school team has dealt with the
year's fliictuations exceptionally well remaining
consistent throughout.
I feel so proud of the Pre-school staff, they are so
adaptable and caring and I know that they are very
much appieciated by the parents for all they do.
The Pre-school is financially stable with huge
thanks to Sarah for keeping the books balanced.
The rest of the team have also played their part
working frugally and smartly to retain their high
standard in the current 'cost of living,
environment. There have also been some
wonderful fundraising initiatives which have
boosted the finances.
The future intake is looking very healthy with
almost all the pre-school places filled. We look
forward to another fun-filled year.
Many, many thanks to Sarah, Traci, JOJO, Anne-
Marie, Laura, Lisa and Charlotte and for all the
amazing work they do. A big thank you to the
committee members without whom the Pre-school
could not function in the way it does.
