In order**<br>**to effectively tackle antimicrobial**<br>**resistance, global awareness and**<br>**behaviour change is needed alongside**<br>**scientific advances.  Building on the**<br>**historical legacy of Fleming’s discovery**<br>**of Penicillin in UK, the** **aim of The**|





**Fleming Initiative is to put society at the heart of solving this problem. • The initial phase of this work has involved developing a fundraising plan for this endeavour – specifically working with specialist philanthropy consultants and working with AMR experts in developing a vision and supporting content. • In addition, efforts have been in focused on helping mobilise a global network of support and developing a governance framework to oversee and develop a 5 year plan.**
