## **YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2026** 

This year £32,201 income was made through fundraising activities throughout the year. This includes £8,592 received through student sponsorship (similar to the previous year), £19,687 from donations and events (a large increase on the previous year). 

This year Gift Aid was claimed from student sponsorship and donations, totalling £2,322. 

One grant of £1,600 was received from a Rotary Club. 

This year the Charity has made grants to Umoja Tanzania (a registered Tanzanian charity) totalling £18,065. This was spent on the running costs of the Umoja Centre, including paying staff salaries, centre rent, infrastructure, meals, education materials and school fees. This is a significant increase on the grants made to Umoja Tanzania the previous year due to the increase in donations received and the grant.
