The Annual Report of the Truro Community Property Trust Year ending September 2025 Chartty Number 1136731. This has been the most challenging year that the Trust has fad in many years. Having finally got the Grammar School open and up and running, we suddenly found ourselves with another change of tenant. We had a major water leak between the Central Bar and Old Grammar School. Because of the cost of this repair, it severely limited the amount of funds the Trust was able to distribute to the local communty. Like everyone else the trust has been impacted by the cost of living. Another of our tenants has been suffering from a lack funds to cover the cost of running their building and we have found that coupled with the major water works we have had to limit the donations we have been able to offer. Despite this we have been able to offer both RBL and Parachute Regiments meeting rooms to help them continue their good work. We also made a major donation to Truro Old Boys as well as to a local school to help with Christmas. The Arts Society also benefrted from a donation. The highlight of the year seems to have been being able to sponsor the Children's New Years Eve fireworks. The donation enabled each child who attended to have both a drink and sweets.
